Three things change when a cannabis cafe sits in a suburb instead of a Lakeview storefront:
- Customers shop bigger. A Lakeview customer who walks in three times a week buys one bag of gummies at a time. A suburban customer who drives in once a week buys a bundle and stocks the kitchen.
- The “third place” function matters more. Lakeview has a hundred places to sit and meet a friend. Oak Park has fewer. A cafe with comfortable seating, weed-friendly hours, and a real food/drink menu fills a gap.
